Module Coverage

Eight modules, one practice

Payroll does not stand alone. HR configuration underpins everything, the core modules depend on it, and the operational modules feed it. We configure the whole chain, which is why the pay rules and the scheduling rules stop contradicting each other.

Foundation

HR Configuration

Org, roles, and job structures. Every module below inherits from this.

Core

Payroll

Gross to net, retro, year-end

Workforce Management

Rules, accruals, entitlements

Benefits

Plans, eligibility, enrolment

Feeds The Core

Time and Attendance

Time

Feeds hours into payroll

Scheduling

Drives entitlement rules

Recruiting

Creates the employee record

Reporting

Practice areas

Three ways we work in Dayforce

Engagements shaped to where your tenant is today: going live for the first time, running but wobbly, or stable and ready to be better.

01

Implementation

New tenant, first go-live, or a module you have licensed but never switched on. We configure Dayforce around your policies, load your people and balances, and run parallel cycles until the numbers match.

WHAT YOU GET

Parallel runs before go-live, not after.

02

Consulting

A second set of eyes on a tenant you already run. We review pay rules, workflows, and security against what your policies actually say, and hand you a prioritized list of what to change and why.

WHAT YOU GET

Pay rules reviewed against policy, in writing.

03

Optimization

Your tenant works, but nobody quite trusts it. We find the manual workarounds, retire the configuration debt behind them, and leave the system running the way the original design intended.

WHAT YOU GET

Configuration debt documented and paid down.

Pay Cycle

Nobody goes live on a guess

From first configuration to a steady 26 runs a year. The parallel run is the gate that decides whether you go live at all.

Configure

Pay rules, org structure, entitlements, and earnings codes built to your policy.

Parallel run

Two full cycles processed beside your current system and reconciled to the cent.

Go-live

First live run with us in the room, not on a support queue somewhere.

26 runs a year

Steady state, bi-weekly, with year-end and compliance handled on schedule.

The parallel run is the gate. Two complete cycles processed side by side against your existing payroll, reconciled line by line, before anyone signs off on go-live. If the numbers do not match, we do not go.

Compliance

Year-end and the release cycle

Two dates decide whether a payroll year goes smoothly, and neither of them moves for you.

Year-end

We start year-end preparation in October, not December. Balances audited, adjustments posted, tax forms validated against a test population, and the calendar agreed with your finance team before the last run of the year.

Dayforce releases

Dayforce ships on a fixed cadence and the changes land whether you are ready or not. We read the release notes properly, test the modules you actually use in a sandbox, and tell you which changes need a configuration response before they reach production.
